We are excited to announce the Rome 5K is back Additionally, we are changing the way schools receive funds from this event. http://www.romega5k.com/
We are donating funds to any local high school programs that have racers register for the Rome 5k! The more runners who run under your school name, the more money you will receive. This includes your athletes and anyone else you can convince to choose your school when they register.
Also, your athletes will be able to register at a discounted price by using the code "Rome5".
For example: the family of one of your athletes is running the Rome 5K (4 people total). The athlete gets to register at the discounted price with the code. ALL race registrants should select the athlete's school when registering. That equals 4 runners for your school.
We will still need a handful of volunteers for this race. If your school supplies some volunteers for things such as race packet pick-up, race day registration, course set-up and clean-up, food tables, etc., we will also count those people towards your donation amount.
