Open 7:30AM-3:30PM Media Specialist: Chris Duncan "What a school thinks about its library is a measure of what it thinks about education." - Harold How, Former U.S. Commissioner of Education Material Checkout Fiction and Non-Fiction books are checked out for a period of 14 days, and students may renew these books if desired. A late fee of 10 cents per day will be charged if the books are not returned within 14 days. Please remember that Reference Books and Magazines can be checked out after school for overnight use only. They are due back by 8 a.m. the next day or a late fee of 50 cents per day applies. Internet Usage Usage must be in support of the educational objectives of the school system. View the System Usage Policy for more details. Printing Costs Word Documents (No Pictures/Graphics) costs 10 cents per page. Document with half page or less of graphics costs 20 cents per page.
Also remember, food and drinks are not allowed in the library!!

Online Resources Galileo stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online, an initiative of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. A World Wide Web-based virtual library, GALILEO provides access to multiple information resources, including secured access to licensed products. Participating institutions may access over 100 databases indexing thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Over 2000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications.

The purpose of the Georgia Peach Award is to highlight and promote the best current young adult literature for Georgia high school age students, to encourage young adults to read and to promote the development of cooperative school and public library services for young adults. Teens vote for their favorite books out of the year's top 20 nominees at their high schools and local public libraries.
