After starting the season off victoriously, the last Varsity boy's basketball game against the LaFayette Ramblers had the students and parents excited as the game soared into double overtime. After a long battle and several starters fouling out, we came up short 86-79.  "We should have had that game before it went into overtime. We made some errors that we need to work on before this week's game against Chattooga," says Devan  Bruce.  The Varsity girls also fell to the Ramblers. They started off strong, and many girls brought a lot to the table; just not enough to pull out a win. Unfortunately, our JV teams also put forth great efforts, but the Ramblers came out on top. Senior basketball players this year for the Lady Dogs are Alex james, Hannah Payton, Courtney Stowe, Morgan Blanchard, and Ashlee Lee.  Senior players for the Dogs are Cody Simpson, Chandler Pettyjohn, Justin Baker, and Dusty Brown.
