- We are in the Northwest Georgia High School Anglers Association (NWGHSAA) www.nwghsaa.com
- Our league is a part of The Bass Federation ’s Student Angler Federation which is a High School Fishing League. The TBF also governs the FLW pro tour. www.highschoolfishing.org
- We are the largest league in the nation associated with the Student Angler Federation.
- We have 17 schools in northwest Georgia and have about 250 student anglers in the league.
- The anglers fish in two person teams with a boat captain. The boat captain is not allowed to fish. The only difference between our
tournaments and pro tournaments (besides $) is that we have boat captains to drive the boats and help with the trolling motors for
the student anglers - Our league has several student anglers that have gone on to fish for collegiate teams such as UTC, Dalton State and Bryan College.
Our Team - we are in our 5th season and are a founding member of the NWGHSAA
- We currently have 10, 2 person teams, which means we have 20 student anglers that range from grades 6-12
